Next Stop on the Trip to STL - The Zoo!

We learned a valuable lesson on this trip - the Zoo is maybe not the best choice on a holiday weekend! But through all of the walking and traffic and people - we still had a great time with great people!

We had some great bonding time.  Of course Ella was thrilled to also get a Build A Bear at the Zoo as she has wanted one for years.  She picked the most adorable Pink (of course) Flamingo.  She named her Rose.

Our Getaway with Friends to the St Louis - The Arch

Becky was sweet enough to invite us on a little getaway.  We went to St. Louis to the Arch first.  After all of these years living in Missouri, I've never been to the museum.  We checked it out and of course made our rounds at the mall.  I don't know if Becky will ever forgive me for introducing them to Build A Bear!  Visits there can get expensive but the boys added a new friend to their family and left with smiles. ;)
