Ella singing & dancing

Ella is so funny!!! She is singing (in case you can't understand) "Don't ya wish your girlfriend was hot like me!".  She has been singing it once she saw a guinea pig sing it on a commercial for that new movie.  Of course she sang it as only Ella can! ;)

The Magic House!

While Matt and I were away, the family took Ella to the Magic House for the 1st time! She loved it and can't wait to return! As you can tell, she gravitated towards the princess things. I wouldn't expect any less! Danielle took the "hair-raising" pic on her phone so I will have to get that from her. I have the magnet on the fridge!

Ella's fun visit at Mima Dee's house

I just got mom's pictures from her on disc and decided to go ahead and post pics from earlier this summer when Ella stayed at her house. She had lots of fun especially with Cooper their Boston Terrier puppy. Better late than never, right?

Our New Mac

So we got a new computer - a Mac and by far the favorite program in this house is the Photo Booth! Can you tell? I only picked a few...there are a bunch! Enjoy! I'm sure there will continue to be photo booth pics from time to time.  Maybe we will make it mandatory for visitors to take a pic on it...like an MTV - TRL kinda thing!!

11 years!!! Time flies!

Can you believe it has been 11 years since we said "I do"!!! Everyday hasn't been rainbows and butterflies but we've made it through because we are each other's best friend!
Matt surprised me by having Bisa, Biso, Mima Dee and Danielle come up for a few days to visit and watch Ella while we got away for our anniversary! We went to Branson to take back his mom's lift chair from her hip surgery and visited with the Smithers.  Then we went to Springfield. Just having dinners and going to a grown up movie was amazing!! Another plus was that WE actually got to hold hands...we usually hold hands through Ella's hands.
Hard to believe its been 11 years!!!

Time for haircuts!!

Mommy and Ella really needed haircuts. The bad hair days seemed to overlap each other!! So we went to Lindsey together and both got haircuts! Ella enjoyed going to Mommy's salon and everyone there thought she was so funny! She was such a good girl and looked very cute! I am so glad that we did it because although we didn't take much off the bottom, we did do a lot of shaping and layering for both of us! Much easier! Goodbye Bad Hair days!!!

Our Day Downtown

We had a fun day downtown recently.  The All Star Game was in STL this year so we decided to see all the things going on downtown. We were down that way anyway at Aunt Amanda's so we went down.  It was disappointing but at least we did spend some time together as a family.  We got a cute family pic and Matt took this artsy pic of us at the arch.  Too bad I look terrible...but I went ahead and put it on here since it is a neat pic.
We ended our trip with another visit to the Soulard Market.  Love it there!! Go Cardinals!!

The Trouble with Bedtime!

So when did it become such an issue to get Ella to bed? I have no idea but it has!! She doesn't want to go to bed and wakes up with nightmares.  It is a nightly occurance to be awakened in the middle of the night wanting us to come to her or her crawling in our bed due to a bad dream.  We decided to let Maggie sleep with her so she wouldn't be alone...since that is a major issue. Only problem is that Maggie decides to leave after she falls asleep and Ella wakes up alone...crying. So we bought Maggie a new bed and we are working on getting her to stay there to help Ella through this.  Hopefully it will work! We're all exhausted around here!!!
