Gingerbread House Construction

Ella took part in a great event through the Doha Mums...Gingerbread House making. She had a great time and made a beautiful Gingerbread House. It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit....in the desert. What a great day!!! :)

Christmas in Doha

We headed over to the Ritz for another event and decided to take some Christmas pics in case Matt didn't make it home for the holidays. Luckily he did...but at least we got some cute family pics. :)

Daddy's BIG Milestone!

Matt had a great adventure this year! He was earned the opportunity to take the senior team to the Asian Games in China. We were/are SO proud of him! There was a lot of work, training and time away involved which was really hard but it was such an exciting opportunity!
The team played pretty well and played an intense game vs. China which was luckily televised. Ella and I screamed at the t.v. along with jumping up and down and crying. It was awesome! After being down by 2 with seconds to go, China made a 3 point shot and they won by 5. China went on to win the entire tournament. So, for Matt having the team for 31 days...we were very impressed and proud! Here is a great pic of them while there. Of course the players did not wear their thopes for playing. They wore them for the opening ceremonies.
What an exciting adventure!

A Day of Thanks...

Thanksgiving was upon us and Matt was away with the team. Our new, great friend Traci and her husband Cesar were kind enough to invite me and Ella over for their Thanksgiving dinner. It was a beautiful setting with such a group of people from all over the world. We had an excellent dinner, a wonderful evening and made lots of new friends! We were very THANKful for such a great holiday...when it had the chance of being awful with Matt being away! Thanks again Traci & Cesar! :)

Ella's Fun with Friends

With all of the friends we have been making in Doha, we decided to have a pool playdate. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed introducing our new friends to each other. Of course the pool party led to a sleepover the next week. Our little social butterfly! :)

Computer Fun!!

So...every once in awhile we like to play around on the computer. Enjoy us being silly!! :)

Ella's A New Porsche Driver

Another GREAT (free) event in Doha...The Porsche driving event. It was a lot of fun! Ella was able to go to the Porsche dealer and have a driving lesson then go out on the test track in adorable Porsche pedal cars. She also got lunch, a driver's license and an adorable hat. She had so much fun and Mommy got LOTS of pictures!!!
