A Star is Born!!!

As I mentioned, Aunt Amanda got Ella dance lessons & gear for Christmas and we decided to try it on and talk about what to expect. She decided to try her dancing skillz to her new favorite song from her princess laptop which doubles as her boombox! :)

Christmas Day!!

Christmas Day at our house was lots of fun! We woke up pretty late from all of us being tired and Ella & Mommy still being a bit sick. Ella was ready to open presents at a suprising 9 am!! But once she got started...there was no stopping her! She is a bit spoiled! :) Santa couldn't find her Giselle barbie so she had also asked for a Belle Barbie. Santa dropped off a Belle barbie and a Belle horse. Mommy & Daddy got her a Tag reading system and some books and movies. Mima Dee & Nee Nee spoiled her with a Sleeping Beauty theme of a cool barbie that glows, the DVD and a tea set along with clothes and the much loved Enchanted movie with Ella's favorite princess Giselle!! Bisa & Biso also spoiled her with a learning computer toy, jammies (coolest are Hannah Montana!) and princess robe! She even had presents coming in the mail! One of her favorites was a Princess laptop that she now dances to all the time. Pretty outfits and fancy dresses...what a lucky girl!! We spent a fun day of playing. Mommy really missed Daddy especially when I was putting Ella's vanity together!! It was a challenge!:)

Christmas Fun

We had a great Christmas!! This is a video of me getting one of my favorite Christmas gifts..my furreal Kitty!! I was SO excited! It was perfect that I opened it first on Christmas Eve! I was pretty excited! I also got some other really cool stuff!! I also got from Mima & Papa a Sleeping Beauty vanity (I call it a Beauty Shop) that I now spend all my time at! Aunt Amanda got me something SO exciting...dance classes and all my stuff for it. I loved trying on my leotard w/skirt, ballet slippers and tap shoes! My lessons start on the 5th! Counting the days! Also Aunt Amanda got us a cool card for the Zoo that lets us do all the fun stuff we want like the Sea Lion show, train and petting zoo along with Mommy's favorite thing..free parking!! We are going to put that thing to use as soon as it warms up even just a little!! Speaking of the Zoo, Pee-Paw renewed our adoption of the Sea Lions!! I love my Sea Lions!! Can't wait to go to see my Good Friend, Robbie the Sea Lion!!

We all had such a fun time with both sides of the family together! It was great! Good food and even better dessert and LOTS of laughs!! :)

Happy Holidays everyone! We are counting the days till Christmas!! Can't wait!! Ella has been a good girl..most days! Maybe Santa will swing by and bring some goodies!

We are sad because Daddy won't be with us. He is coaching in Mexico. He left a few weeks ago. We are happy for the opportunity for him but will miss him very much! We love you Daddy!!

We are going to Mima Skillz' house to spend Christmas Eve with Mima, Papa, Pee-Paw, Aunt Amanda and Mommy's side of the family. Then we will spend Christmas at our house with Mima Dee, Nee-Nee, Bisa & Biso! They will be with us for about a week! Ella is having a blast with all the activity in the house! Mommy is enjoying a bit of a break as Ella was recently VERY sick! She had a fever of 103 last year and seemed to stay steady at 101 over 3 days. Mommy was going to have to call in sick those days but we were lucky enough to have 3 snow days instead. We went to the dr and Ella had an ear infection and possibly strep but they decided not to swab her..thank god!! She is doing much better...but not before she passed it on to Mommy! Ughhh!

So the short version of what's up with the Skillmans...Daddy is coaching in paradise, Mommy & Ella are freezing in snow and ice, Mommy & Ella are on break from school with a houseful, Ella doing better now that on antibiotics, looking forward to Christmas and hoping you have a great one!! Oh and Maggie is doing great too..enjoying the extra attention!!!
