She left her school in Qatar and transfered to her school here near Mima Dee's. We thought she would get in a good month and a half but that didn't work out quite right with the school they missed due to the flooding. But she did get a great experience making double the friends and learning lots between the two schools. She even got something that made Mommy SO happy...a Kindergarten Graduation! Mommy got some happy tears flowing and lots of hugs.
Unfortunately, it was on a weekday in the morning so most of the family couldn't make it. Mommy, Bisa and Biso were there cheering loud enough for everyone!
The pics are of Ella leading the pack...well, of Mrs. Brown's class. The next is of Ella and her sweet friend (boyfriend) Lane. Then her and her principal. Next is her pic with her teachers. Mrs. Brown was her teacher but she didn't actually meet her till the end of school because she was away on maternity leave. Her long term sub was Miss Jones. So she was lucky enough to get to have 2 teachers while here.
Bisa and Biso took us out for a celebratory lunch at Ella's favorite new place - Steak-n-Shake where she says "they have the best shakes in the country!"
Congrats sweet girl! So proud!
