Drama Queen!

Ella is never boring as you can see!! A dress up party was perfect for her! Mima Dee's friend, Sandy, gave her this beautiful Cinderella dress & crown and she was a show-stopper! Aunt Amanda got her a chest of princess dress up outfits with all of the extras and she got right to work on being a princess! She even acted out Snow White with the apple...while dressed like Cinderella...she even modeled her new Cinderella gear and I didn't catch her in time while being Sleeping Beauty. She also got a new Barbie surfer/mermaid DVD along with a dress up mermaid outfit!! I don't know if she will EVER NOT be dressed up!! That's our girl!

Other Birthday Fun!

Some good family fun!! We had such a great time!! Of course we had to do a funny face pic...and a regular pic..although Ella had to put in her crazy eyes!! :) Also a pic of her earlier in the week trying soda for the 1st time! Yes, we decided early on that she couldn't have soda. She was cool with it for a very long time and about the time we decided that she was old enough SHE told us that she needed to wait till she was a BIG girl (meaning 5) so we went with it. She tried a Jones root beer and her eyes lit up and she said "Yum!"...tried another taste and then handed it back and said "that is a delicious sometimes snack"....We won the child lottery!!! :)

It can't be the 1st day of spring!!

Who would've known that this year would be so different from last year's birthday party! Ella's 4th Birthday was outside at the playpark...this year was luckily planned at home as there was a blizzard the night before and the whole day of her party!! We had planned to have a smaller party at her request but not this small. Some of her friends couldn't make it due to weather. As Ella said, "Mother Nature played a joke on us!!". I agree. Poor Matt wouldn't let the weather stop him...he was grilling....even if it was snowing!!

Happy Birthday Ella!

Ella decided to have a small party at home for her closest friends and asked for a princess dress up party. Unfortunately our small party was even smaller than we anticipated due to the crazy weather! We had a blizzard on the 1st day of Spring!!! We did have some friends make it and we had a blast! Here are just a few pics from her fun day! This is going to take a few postings as Mima Dee took LOTS of pics!! Hard to believe she is 5 already!!!

The Big Song! Everyone singing Happy Birthday at Ella's 5th Birthday party! Daddy made her a beautiful Belle barbie cake just like she wanted. It was beautiful and delicious! Way to go!! Can't believe how quickly she is growing up!!!

Pinkalicious!!

A STAR IS BORN!!

Ella's acting lessons are finished and concluded with her BIG show...Pinkalicious!!! She was such a doll! She really enjoyed the lessons (thank you Bisa & Biso) and enjoyed performing....maybe because she is a ham! :) I am only posting pictures on the web as we were allowed to take pics & video but asked not to post videos. I am working on getting it put together as I got bits & pieces due to technical difficulty. :( I will also be adding more pics in another posting.

Things are busy here with school and work. I am studying for 2 major tests within days of each other and am pretty tired of studying ALL the time...English & Spanish. Ready to get them behind me. Test #1 is a week from today with the other on Ella's birthday (16th) so at least I will have them behind me in time for her birthday party!! Wish me luck!!

Ella's 5th birthday is fast-approaching! Can't believe how quickly she is growing!! She is super-excited about it and starting Kindergarten in the fall! Where does the time go? I'm sure I will have LOTS to post then!

We're enjoying the excellent weather & I will be taking a break from studying to get outside for some fresh air! A bike ride or at least a walk sounds great!! :)
